Annapurna circuit trek is the most popular and frequently visited circuit trek in the world. This trek lies in the Annapurna region of central Nepal. the best time to spend on this trek is 16-20days. Since 1980 this trekking region also has been opened for foreigners. The maximum elevation is at Thorong la pass which is 5416m(17769ft) above from sea level. This trek gives you a glimpse of the high Himalayas, traditional village and monasteries which is influenced by Buddhism You can walk long miles in the deep valleys surrounded by the high peaks. You can go to the jungle safari in the rhododendron forest before crossing to Thorong La pass which is situated at 5416m. At the summit of Thorong la, you can see the magical view of the mt Annapurna(8091m), Manaslu(8163m), Dhaulagiri. Once you crossed Thorong la pass you feel easy in trekking because you have to walk maximum distance in the valley. Easy access to vehicle make this trek less circuit.
The ideal time to go to this region is pre-monsoon(march-may) where you see the rhododendron forest and post-monsoon(sept-nov) when the weather is cold and warm. So bring warm clothes if you are going to post-monsoon. Particularly in the rainy season, you should be careful from the leech but his season is mostly preferred to take the photograph of the green forest, waterfall, flora and fauna and other many things.
This is a moderate type of trekking. You can trek this region in anti-clockwise starting from the Beshisahar. And descend Muktinath to Jomsom.
